Effective Date: July 23, 2026

Welcome to California Clean Business LLC. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of CaliforniaCleanBusiness.com and any cleaning services requested, booked, or purchased from California Clean Business LLC.

By accessing our website, requesting a quote, scheduling a service, submitting payment, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

1. About California Clean Business LLC

California Clean Business LLC provides residential and specialty cleaning services in San Francisco and surrounding Bay Area communities.

Our services may include:

  • Standard Cleaning
  • Deep Cleaning
  • Move-In and Move-Out Cleaning
  • Post-Construction Cleaning
  • Additional or customized cleaning services agreed upon before the appointment

Service availability may depend on your location, property condition, requested date, and staffing availability.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to request or purchase our services.

When booking on behalf of another person, property owner, tenant, employer, or organization, you confirm that you have permission to make the booking and accept these Terms and Conditions on their behalf.

3. Quotes and Estimates

Quotes are based on the information provided by the customer, including:

  • Property size
  • Number of bedrooms and bathrooms
  • Type of service requested
  • Current condition of the property
  • Number of occupants and pets
  • Requested add-on services
  • Photos or videos submitted
  • Special instructions or access requirements

Quotes are estimates unless expressly identified as a fixed price.

California Clean Business LLC may adjust the price when the property’s actual size, condition, cleaning requirements, or requested scope differs materially from the information provided.

When additional work is recommended, we will make reasonable efforts to obtain the customer’s approval before completing work that would result in an additional charge.

4. Pricing and Additional Charges

Prices may vary based on the property, service type, level of buildup, time required, and requested add-ons.

Additional charges may apply for circumstances including:

  • Excessive dirt, grease, dust, or buildup
  • Heavy pet hair or pet-related waste
  • Excessive clutter
  • Additional rooms or areas not included in the original booking
  • Interior appliance cleaning
  • Interior window or blind cleaning
  • Garage cleaning or decluttering
  • After-party cleaning
  • Post-construction dust or debris
  • Unsafe, unsanitary, or unusually difficult conditions
  • Delays caused by access issues

Any mandatory charge that is not included in an advertised price should be disclosed before the customer is asked to complete payment.

5. Booking Confirmation

Submitting a quote request does not guarantee an appointment.

A booking is confirmed only after California Clean Business LLC has accepted the request and provided confirmation by email, text message, telephone, booking platform, or another approved method.

Appointment dates and arrival windows are subject to availability.

We may decline or cancel a booking when:

  • The address is outside our service area
  • The requested service is unavailable
  • The information provided is inaccurate or incomplete
  • The property presents a health or safety concern
  • Payment requirements are not completed
  • A cleaner is unavailable because of illness, emergency, weather, or another circumstance beyond our reasonable control

When possible, we will offer an alternative appointment.

6. Customer Responsibilities

The customer agrees to:

  • Provide complete and accurate property information
  • Select the correct cleaning service
  • Provide safe and timely access to the property
  • Ensure electricity and running water are available
  • Provide working heating or ventilation when reasonably necessary
  • Secure pets appropriately
  • Remove valuables, cash, medications, important documents, and fragile items
  • Inform us about damaged, delicate, or specialty surfaces
  • Disclose hazards, infestations, mold, bodily fluids, waste, weapons, or unsafe conditions
  • Provide parking instructions and disclose applicable parking restrictions or fees
  • Communicate special requests before the appointment

California Clean Business LLC is not responsible for delays or incomplete work resulting from inaccurate information, unavailable utilities, access problems, excessive clutter, unsafe conditions, or undisclosed property issues.

7. Property Access

The customer must provide a safe and authorized method of entry.

Access may be provided through:

  • The customer or an authorized representative
  • A lockbox
  • A door code
  • A building concierge
  • Another method approved before the appointment

The customer is responsible for confirming that access instructions are accurate and that California Clean Business LLC has permission to enter the property.

Waiting time, return-trip costs, or cancellation charges may apply when entry cannot be obtained at the scheduled time, provided those charges were disclosed before booking.

8. Preparing for the Cleaning

Customers should remove unnecessary clutter and secure personal belongings before the appointment.

Our team is not responsible for organizing excessive personal items unless organization or decluttering was specifically requested and included in the booking.

For the safety of everyone involved, children and pets should remain away from actively cleaned areas whenever possible.

9. Cleaning Supplies and Equipment

California Clean Business LLC may provide standard cleaning supplies and equipment unless otherwise agreed.

The customer must notify us before the appointment about:

  • Allergies or chemical sensitivities
  • Product preferences
  • Surfaces requiring specialty products
  • Manufacturer cleaning requirements
  • Products that must not be used

When the customer requests that we use customer-provided supplies or equipment, the customer accepts responsibility for the safety, quality, instructions, and suitability of those products.

10. Furniture and Heavy Items

Our cleaners are not required to lift or move heavy furniture, appliances, or objects that may create a risk of injury or property damage.

We may clean around or underneath movable items when doing so is reasonably safe.

The customer should move heavy items before the appointment when cleaning behind or underneath them is requested.

11. Pets

Customers must inform us about pets before the appointment.

Pets should be secured when necessary to protect the pet, customer, cleaner, and property.

California Clean Business LLC is not responsible for a pet escaping, becoming distressed, or being exposed to a cleaning product when the customer has not followed reasonable pet-safety instructions or has not disclosed the pet’s presence.

12. Valuables and Fragile Items

Customers should safely store:

  • Cash
  • Jewelry
  • Collectibles
  • Firearms
  • Medications
  • Important documents
  • Electronics
  • Sentimental items
  • Fragile or irreplaceable property

Pre-existing damage should be disclosed before the service.

We may decline to clean delicate, unstable, damaged, or high-value items when doing so presents an unreasonable risk.

13. Damage or Loss Claims

Although we take reasonable care while cleaning, accidental damage may occasionally occur.

Any claim involving damage or missing property should be reported as soon as reasonably possible after the appointment. The customer should provide:

  • A description of the issue
  • Photographs or videos
  • Proof of ownership or value when applicable
  • Any other information reasonably needed to investigate

The customer must allow California Clean Business LLC a reasonable opportunity to inspect and investigate the claim.

We are not responsible for:

  • Ordinary wear and tear
  • Pre-existing damage
  • Improperly installed items
  • Loose fixtures
  • Deteriorated materials
  • Unstable furniture
  • Manufacturer defects
  • Damage caused by customer-supplied products
  • Damage resulting from undisclosed specialty surfaces or care requirements

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

14. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Customers should provide as much advance notice as possible when canceling or rescheduling.

A cancellation, lockout, or late-rescheduling fee may apply when disclosed and accepted during booking.

Any cancellation charge should reasonably reflect the scheduling impact and anticipated loss associated with the reserved appointment. California law may restrict unreasonable contractual penalties.

California Clean Business LLC may waive a fee in its discretion for emergencies or exceptional circumstances. A waiver in one situation does not require a waiver in future situations.

15. Late Arrival and Service Windows

We make reasonable efforts to arrive within the confirmed time or arrival window.

Arrival times may be affected by:

  • Traffic
  • Weather
  • Parking
  • Building access
  • Earlier appointments
  • Employee illness
  • Emergencies
  • Circumstances outside our reasonable control

We will attempt to notify the customer of a meaningful delay. A delayed arrival does not automatically entitle the customer to a refund when the cleaning service can still be completed.

16. Payments

Payment terms will be disclosed through the quote, invoice, booking platform, or confirmation.

By providing a payment method, the customer authorizes California Clean Business LLC or its payment processor to charge the approved amount, including any disclosed and accepted fees or additional services.

The customer agrees to provide accurate billing information and sufficient funds.

Returned payments, declined transactions, chargebacks, or unpaid balances may result in:

  • Suspension of future services
  • Cancellation of pending appointments
  • Reasonable collection activity
  • Additional charges permitted by law and previously disclosed

17. Refunds and Service Concerns

Cleaning results may be affected by the age, condition, material, staining, buildup, or prior maintenance of a surface.

We do not guarantee that all stains, discoloration, odors, damage, mold, mineral deposits, grout staining, or permanent buildup can be removed.

Customers should report a service concern promptly and provide reasonable details and photographs when requested.

When appropriate, California Clean Business LLC may offer:

  • A return visit
  • Corrective cleaning
  • A partial credit
  • Another reasonable resolution

Refunds are not guaranteed and will be evaluated based on the circumstances, completed work, and applicable law.

18. Recurring Services

Recurring appointments are subject to continued availability.

Service frequency, price, scope, and schedule may change when:

  • The property condition changes
  • The customer changes the requested scope
  • Significant time passes between cleanings
  • Business costs or service rates change
  • The regular appointment falls on a holiday
  • Staffing or scheduling availability changes

We will provide notice of material changes before they apply to a future appointment.

19. Before-and-After Photographs

With the customer’s permission, photographs may be taken to:

  • Document property condition
  • Confirm completed work
  • Support quality control
  • Investigate a concern
  • Provide training
  • Create marketing content when separately authorized

We will not intentionally publish personally identifying photographs of the customer or their private information without appropriate permission.

Customers may request that no marketing photographs be taken or used.

20. Text Messages and Email

By providing contact information, the customer agrees to receive service-related communications, including:

  • Quote responses
  • Booking confirmations
  • Arrival updates
  • Appointment reminders
  • Payment notices
  • Customer-support messages

Promotional communications will be sent only as permitted by law and applicable consent requirements.

Consent to receive promotional messages is not a condition of purchasing cleaning services.
